With five event suites and more than 6,135 square feet of rental space, the Thrasher-Horne Center can accommodate any of your rental needs. Each suite is designed to suit multiple uses and four have movable wall partitions to create larger room setups. Our experienced on-site staff is on hand to help you plan the event you envision.
Our Facilities
The Thrasher-Horne Center is situated on the beautiful campus of the St. John River State College in Orange Park. Ample free parking is available for your guests and the center is easily accessible.
Our center features all of the amenities you need to make your event a success, including wireless network access, the latest audio-visual equipment, on-site security, and much more.
The center is available for your event from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day of the week.
Equipment and Furnishings
All event suite rental fees include furniture setup according to your specifications and furniture breakdown. Your furnishing options include round or rectangular tables and cushioned chairs for your guests’ comfort, and each suite offers separately controlled lighting and sound.
Additional equipment is available for rent, including podiums, a/v carts, cordless handheld or lapel microphones, a portable projector, a dance floor, pianos, and more.
Flexible Catering Options
You may use your own caterer or take advantage of our recommended caterers who can provide a menu to fit any budget and style, from fun themed luncheons to formal dinners. If you plan to have alcohol served at your banquet, a copy of the appropriate Florida state liquor license and liquor liability insurance is required.
