Our versatile meeting rooms are ideal for any type of meeting, from corporate gatherings and luncheons to presentations and workshops. More than 6,135 square feet of space and five rooms can accommodate whatever format you have in mind: Host a large meeting in our grand room or a workshop or training session with room breakouts. Four of our multipurpose rooms have wall partitions that can be moved to allow expansion into larger room setups.

Our Meeting Facilities

The Thrasher-Horne Center has everything you need to make your meeting a success:

  • Our professional on-site event staff will help you plan and execute your meeting to your specifications.
  • The center is conveniently located in the heart of Clay County and offers plenty of free parking for your guests.
  • We have wireless network access and up-to-date audio-visual equipment available for rent.
  • The center is available for rentals from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. seven days a week and on-site security is available.

We are located on the scenic campus of the St. Johns River State College in Orange Park, just a short drive from Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and surrounding areas.

Furnishings and Equipment

Our room rental fees provide additional value with custom furniture setup and breakdown included. Furnishings include your choice of table shapes and sizes and cushioned chairs, and each of our meeting rooms have independently controlled temperature and lighting.

A wide range of meeting room equipment is also available for rent, including podiums with and without attached microphones, a/v carts, projectors and screens, a stage platform riser, and much more.

Catering Options

We maintain a listing of local caterers who can provide light snacks to large luncheons and everything in between. If you’d like to use your own food provider, all that’s needed is a copy of their operating license and the appropriate insurance. If your gathering will include serving alcohol, you can either utilize our on-site concessionaire, or we can refer you to a caterer who is in possession of the specific liquor license required to serve alcohol at the Thrasher-Horne Center.
