The Thrasher-Horne Center is an ideal venue for expos, conventions, and other large events, located on the grounds of the beautiful St. Johns River State College. The facility is conveniently located with an expansive 6,260 square feet of interior space that can be uniquely configured for any event. There is plenty of convenient free parking, along with highly desired features, amenities, and services.

Amenities available in versatile suites include multimedia presentation lecterns, with each room having separate state-of-the-art audiovisual and sound systems, plus on-site security, wireless network access, and much more. Our conference facilities are available for half- and full-day rentals.

Thrasher-Horne allows for a wide range of flexible configurations to create a convenient, streamlined experience for people setting up exhibits with easy access for attendees, even a large number of them.

Just as with expos, our facility allows for ample options for a broad range of events. There are five event suites, four of them configurable, including a grand suite. Non-profit agencies and organizations: be sure to ask about our rental discount.

Conference Center Rentals for Conventions & Expos
With room rentals, Thrasher-Horne provides custom furniture setup and breakdown, including the choice of table shapes and sizes and cushioned chairs. Each room has independently controlled lighting and temperature for the ultimate in comfort. Equipment available for rent includes podiums with or without microphones, projectors and screens, A/V carts, stage platform riser, and more.
Depending on your needs, we can recommend local caterers who can provide snacks or meals. Or, if you’re providing food but want to use your own caterer, simply give us a copy of their operating license and insurance. Let us know if your gathering will include alcohol and we can walk through the steps.
