Parsons Dance is always a favorite that can bring exuberance, joy and passion to any stage.
Parsons is visiting Northeast Florida as part of a residency program funded by a grant from South Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. These organizations have ensured that Parsons not only present an evening performance at the Thrasher-Horne, but also a discounted matinee performance for students, and several master classes in dance presented both at the theatre and within the community at locations like LaVilla School of the Arts in downtown Jacksonville. These outreach programs help fuel young minds with critically important arts education and bring professional quality performance to children throughout our region.
