The summer months are coming to a close, and the cool weather is soon to creep in. As the fall season comes into session, so do all the exciting events that come along with it. The Jacksonville area is home to some of the best concerts and most unique musical experiences in the area. Check out these highly anticipated events that are coming this fall.

The Frontmen of Country

September 18th, 2021

Just a short drive away in Orange Park, the Thrasher-Horne Center is hosting The Frontmen of Country on September 18th. Three of country music’s popular singers are coming together for a special one-time performance. This concert features Tum Rushlow (formerly Little Texas), Richie McDonald of Lonestar, and Larry Steward of Restless Heart. This event is sure to please any country music fan. The Frontmen of Country has performed worldwide and has sold over 30 million records between them. In addition, the opening performance will be by Jacksonville country singer Quinn! 2021 Jacksonville Jazz Festival

September 29th thru October 3rd

Get ready to groove to the tunes of your jazz favorites. The 2021 Jacksonville Jazz Festival is coming to Downtown Jacksonville from September 29th to October 3rd. Get lost to the mesmerizing sounds of the drums, bass, keyboards, and trumpets as they fill the streets with joy. Come for the music, but stay for the food, drinks, and community that make it unique. This weekend-long event once hosted some of the most renowned artists in the industry, including Tony Bennett, Miles Davis, and Kenny G. Sam Hunt Tour

September 10th, 2021 – 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Hamilton 

September 29th – October 17th

The Hamilton play has been rescheduled, and it’s ready to return to Jacksonville this fall! Experience the story of America then, told by America now. Follow the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and see how this critically acclaimed performance redefined culture, politics, and education in the world of theatre. Catch this musical in town from September 29th to October 17th.

Clint Black

October 28th, 2021

Another great event for country music lovers at the Thrasher-Horne Center is the Clint Black concert happening on October 28th. Clint Black is a country singing superstar, has sold over 20 million records, dozens of gold and platinum awards in the US and Canada, and is a GRAMMY award winner. He was a part of the band Class of ’89 and has written or co-written a catalog of 22 #1 hit singles. This is a can’t-miss country music opportunity at $39 per ticket. The show starts at 8 pm.
