It’s now mid-August, and we suppose you’ve successfully checked off all the boxes on previous months’ wedding checklists. Your finish line is now clearly visible just on the other side of the already waning summer season. And here we are, like clockwork, to provide you with Part Six of our yearlong wedding planning guide. Below, you’ll find your next steps on the path to a perfectly smooth blissful wedding.

2 MONTHS BEFORE
It’s crunch time
You’re down to the wire and everything is going smoothly. Just a couple of months to go.
- Mail the wedding invitations. Set the RSVP cutoff date at three weeks before your big day.
- Check in with all the vendors. This is to ensure that nothing is amiss.
- Meet with the photographer. You’ll want to discuss specific shots and locations at the venues.
- Decide “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.” Come on, it brings good luck.
- Book a spa and beauty appointments for you and the bridal party.
- Purchase gifts for bridal party. If these can mirror your theme, great. If not, choose something you know the members of the party will love.
