Introducing the NEW THRASHER-HORNE CENTER!

The Thrasher-Horne Center has officially revealed its new branding along with a complete redesign of its mission and vision.  “Our new tagline, ‘We’re all about you,’ emphasizes our primary operating principle, which is to focus on our guests first and foremost,” said Executive Director Denton Yockey.  “Our goal has always been to provide a great experience for the community, whether in one of our two theatres or our expansive conference center.” The new circular logo symbolizes the joining of these two different functions together as a whole.

Opening its doors in 2004, Thrasher-Horne Center has been serving the Northeast Florida community for almost 13 years as Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts and Conference Center.  Three years ago, the venue began to downplay the latter portion of the name to become one entity as Thrasher-Horne Center.  This move happened in conjunction with various other updates to the venue that included more contemporary programming, redesigned loyalty programs, and an exterior facelift to the 84,000 sq. ft. facility.

Over the past year, the Thrasher-Horne Center began an ongoing collaboration with the nationally esteemed Dalton Agency to create a new logo, color scheme, tagline and website to accentuate their updated mission as a hub of the arts, commerce, and community of Northeast Florida.  Elements of these new concepts will be revealed over the next few months as part of an ongoing brand launch.

Thrasher-Horne Center has also revised its mission and vision statements to more accurately reflect the changes to the venue.

The vision promises that “at Thrasher-Horne Center, we aspire to become the premiere gathering place; the intersection of arts and commerce; the hub of community, education, and culture in Northeast Florida.”

The mission further expands on that promise by building a strong foundation upon the following points:

  • We pledge to present the very best of the arts through professional music, theatre, and dance.
  • We guarantee to provide theatres, galleries, and meeting rooms for civic, cultural, and commercial events relevant to our community.
  • We will serve diverse audiences of all ages comprised of residents and visitors of the Northeast Florida community.
  • We vow to exceed our customers’ expectations by treating them with care, consideration, and compassion in a first-class, state of the art facility that is accessible, comfortable, and convenient.
  • We strive for excellence in all we do.
  • We will be the cultural bridge between St. Johns River State College and our Northeast Florida community.

The Thrasher-Horne Center has spent the past two seasons introducing the budding community of Clay County and the larger emerging region of Northeast Florida to entertainment options that thrill and excite, from incredible Broadway tours to nationally renowned musicians, comedians, dancers – many of the best that the entertainment world has to offer. They have continued this forward momentum into 2017-2018 by introducing a stirring new Broadway Orange Park season, as well as a bevy of additional shows that speak to every aspect of Northeast Florida’s varied population.

Tickets for individual shows will be available in the fall. Subscriptions and more information are available at 904-276-6815 or online at THcenter.org.
